On December 31, the Cowgirls faced Mansfield. 

The JV2 traveled to Midlothian to play Midlothian Heritage's JV1 team. The cowgirls fell 3-2 with Carly Duperrior scoring both goals. Miriam Avila and Bernice David had the assists. The Cowgirls will return to play at McKinney Boyd on January 8. 

JV1 was down 2-1 at the half, but battled during the 2nd half to finish 4-2. Mackenzie Wilhelm, Kaitlyn Shilling and Michelle Pak (2) scored for the Cowgirls with Mackenzie Shannon on the assist. Makenna Fisher had 1 save. The Cowgirls open regular season play with the Grapevine Tournament this weekend, they will play Southlake on Thursday. 

Varsity played a tough Mansfield team and finished with a 0-0 tie. Varsity will start play against Belton on Thursday at The Star in Frisco.
